The Ashuwillticook Rail Trail runs parallel to Route 8 and passes through Cheshire, Lanesborough and Adams, MA. Cycling and hiking are popular here in the warmer months, and cross country skiing is available in the winter. Restrooms are conveniently situated along the trail.
