The 1,100-acre Mount Everett State Reservation can be found in the southwest corner of Massachusetts. There is a 1.5 mile trail that leads to the summit of Mount Everett; from there visitors can see a panorama of Massachusetts, New York State and Connecticut. Aside from sightseeing, other popular activities at this park include canoeing, hiking, and fishing.

Bash Bish Falls drops 80 feet after winding through a series of gorges. This park is located within the larger Mount Washington State Forest, and offers activities such as fishing, biking and hiking. Hunting is permitted, however restrictions apply. Contact the park office for hunting regulations.
