Mount Estate and Gardens of Edith Wharton are home to a stunning 1902 mansion and formal gardens that were designed by Edith Wharton, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist. Edith was also known as a adept interior designer and for her knowledge on architecture and gardens. The Estate overlooks Lake Laurel and both the mansion and gardens are open to the public from May through October.
